Festivals

Festival Internacional Altavoz

Nov. 2, 3 and 4, Cancha Auxiliar Estadio Cincuentenario

Altavoz is a huge, 3-day music festival sponsored by the local government. Best of all it’s totally FREE! If you’re open to some edgier forms of music, like alternative, ska, punk, and hardcore, this is the festival you’ve been waiting for.

Take a break from salsa and reggaeton this weekend. The Misfits are headlining one of the nights, which should be amazing.

International Mime and Clown Festival

Nov. 2-10, various locales. See website for more information.

Nacional lost 3-2 in Sao Paulo. A 1-0 win or better next week would mean advancing to the semifinals of this South American tournament. Can they do it? Go to the game and find out.
