I ventured to Open Sky Lounge last week in Parque Lleras to see Robin again, and pick up my personal copy of the July Arepa, featuring my handy guide to Medellin buses. It was a humor piece I’d been meaning to write for this blog. It’s amazing how deadlines can motivate me!
The lounge’s main floor was empty, but there was a crowd on the top floor. An awning hung over the space, so you couldn’t actually look straight up and see the sky, but it felt very open air. I greeted Robin and Henry, and met a few new people including an Irish guy and Jossie, a recent arrival from England who planned to teach English.
