Apparently this song blew up in 2009 when it came out in Spain, the singer’s home country. It then proceeded to make its way around the world.
But I didn’t hear it until my travels around South America earlier this year. When I got back to Lima, I sang it in Spanish at the Atlantic City karaoke bar.
It’s a romantic duet, with the title “colgando en tus manos” translating as (my heart is) “hanging in your hands.”
