Theater: La Viuda Alegre

The play tells the story of Hanna, a widow from the mythical country of Pontevedre, whose bank deposits consist of the total amount of the country’s monetary reserve. There rises a great fear that Hanna will marry a foreigner and her fortune would leave the nation, leaving the country in squander.

This play is full of music, popular numbers, folkloric dance, romance and finalizes with a scene in the legendary Maxim’s restaurant of Paris, captivating through its well-known waltz.
