The Semana Santa or Holy Week in Colombia is sacred for more than one reason. Those who have to work all week dread it, but those who don’t have the entire week off, have Thursday and Friday for a 4 day weekend in which fincas, hotels, and resorts fill up with tourism all over the country. Pueblo travels are common during this week of the year, as well as beach vacations.
