Plecto Art Contemporary Space invites to the opening of the art group show SENTIDO GENUINO [Genuine Sense] this Thursday October 13th, from5.30pm to 10:00 p.m.. Exhibit will continue until November 12th, 2016.
We are pleased to present the artwok of 4 important Colombian women artists that have an incredible and strong career, like so their extensive background into the local and international contemporary art scene.
Libia Posada, Eugenia Pérez, Angélica Teuta y Liliana Sánchez have their own very fascinating world that invites people to explore. “Sentido genuino” [Genuine sense] draws 4 cardinal points where tensions, comparisons, relations and differences occur. They investigate about traditional crafts, explore body and emotions of visitors when they interact with art pieces, talks about appearances and form, psyche and female energy.
Posada and Pérez have a wide art knowledge in the local scene almost uncountable nowadays. Teuta and Sanchez are the new art Colombian generation with a very universal tone, both have been winner of the recognized scholarship “Young Talents” sponsored by Banco de la Republica de Colombia.
