Sorry, none this month. It is one of only two — September is the other — that does not have a holiday.
Medellin Living Meetup
This is looking like it will be the best-attended Medellin Living event ever, so don’t miss it.
“Una Noche Cubana” starts at 8 p.m. on Feb. 8 at La Bodeguita Havanera, where everyone will receive a 15 percent discount on all their food. Because it’s a Saturday, there will be live music.
The live music theme will carry over to Son Havana, where a salsa band will be playing and we will be dancing.
Check the websites of the four local football teams — Medellin, Envigado, Itagui and defending champion Nacional — to find out their schedules.
Enhumorados La Gorda Fabiola y Polilla
If you’re looking for a laugh, this duo can provide it, assuming you speak Spanish.
I guess February is for comedic duos because here’s another event to entertain you.
Don’t forget Valentine’s Day is coming up next Friday, February 14! Even though Colombians celebrate the sentiment on the Day of Love and Friendship in September, I do think there’s some recognition of V-Day, at some restaurants, clubs, and hotels.
Saturday, February 22nd: Salsa Social y Bachata; 8:00pm, $10.000 cover
