CITIES FOR LIFE Global Meeting Medellin 2015 will promote dialogues on the role of cities in a globalized world, the sharing of knowledge and experiences of urban innovation and the creation of an open and cooperative ecosystem to build Cities for Life.
This meeting will provide a space for discussions and agreements between mayors, city managers, and city officials showcasing the most outstanding urban innovation success stories and creating collaborative proposals for action. It will be an opportunity to make a political declaration on the role of cities and give recommendations for meeting shared challenges.
Participants will also be able to work closely with international institutions such as the World Bank, CAF-Development Bank of Latin America and the IDB-Inter-American Development Bank in order to find agreements to enhance city management.
