El Paisa Es El Rey (The Paisa is King) by John Jairo Perez is my latest musical propaganda discovery on YouTube. The number of songs professing the awesomeness of Medellin and the paisas who call it home cannot be ignored!

It all reminds me of the songs about another great city: “New York, New York” by Frank Sinatra, and “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z.
