I look out the windows of my (Maira’s) apartment often.

The day starts out partly sunny, and by mid-afternoon, rains will sweep in to cool everything down for an hour or two.
By the time the rains end, the sun is already low in the sky, or dipping behind the western mountain peaks, thereby ushering in the typically pleasant evening temperatures.
