I first saw Artefacto at Altavoz. I was impressed by the group, overall. They are a Medellin band lead by Felipe Carmona, 30 (yes, he’s 30…it has been a topic of discussion and jokes ever since I found out.) Felipe has been very kind to me with offering insights into the Colombian music scene, and I wanted to share this video for him.
I love this video because you can see the Metro running in the background. I have been using this song to help me learn Spanish. Here are the lyrics:
DESESPERO
Fue una noche fría y cruel
Cuando me hiciste perder
En tu risa que sabe a miel
Me deleito y luego se fue
Dime porque haces llover
Siempre que te quiero ver
Dame de ti dame de ti
En tus ojos me perdí
A donde vas
Cuando yo pienso en ti
Donde estas cuando muero por ti.
