The Colombian Peso has slowly gained against the US Dollar over the last few months, and my mental calculations for the exchange rate are far too dated! I’m starting to feel the difference in my wallet too – a 20% difference would be noticeable to most people.
For example, I recall a time a few months ago when $1 equaled 2,600 COP. As of yesterday, $1 equals 2,141 COP.
I knew the good times would be short lived, I had just hoped they would last as long as I did here! On the flip side, I know while the situation is not good for my bank account, it is good for Colombians.
