Cumbia Colombiana: La Zenaida – Armando Hernandez

La Zenaida by Armando Hernandez is cumbia music at its best!

Like vallenato, cumbia is a style of Latin music which originated from Colombia’s Caribbean coast. It gets less attention then vallenato, at least here in Medellin, but it’s still fun.

Unlike other Latin genres, I still have a hard time identifying cumbia from say, vallenato, but I’m sure that’s only because I haven’t listened to it as much thus far.
