Brasarepa Restaurant

Anthony Bourdain at Brasarepa

I previously wrote about my food mission to Brasarepa Restaurant in Envigado on GoBackpacking.

The restaurant was one of several locations around Medellin used by (my culinary hero) Anthony Bourdain for his travel and food show, No Reservations.

The taping of No Reservations

As a result of the posting, I was both surprised and pleased to receive a message from Victor, the proprietor of Brasarepa.

He offered to send me some personal photos of the crew’s visit, and of course I accepted.

Yes, I sat at the same picnic table for my lunch, and I look forward to returning for dinner now that I live close by.
