There are so many beautiful beaches in the world that tourists are absolutely spoilt for choice.

Some of the sandy stretches are graced by year-round sunshine and act as the venue for wet and wild parties. Others are located in quiet and secluded areas, away from the crowds.

The beaches on this list will definitely be of interest, no matter what your specific tastes may be.

El Cabo San Juan – Colombia

There are a number of picturesque beaches in Columbia’s Parque Nacional Tayrona. However, El Cabo San Juan is worthy of particular praise.

Local people and tourists come here to sunbathe and watch the Caribbean waves lap against the shore. Some even spend the night in moonlit hammocks.

Arambol – India

This lengthy stretch of golden sand is located in the popular tourist destination of Goa.

Some people visit this place on spiritual missions of discovery. Others come for the opportunity to see the magnificent coastal scenery and try various water-sports.

Las Salinas – Spain

The lively atmosphere of Las Salinas is well renowned for its celebrity visitors, including Kate Moss and Fat Boy Slim.

Located in Ibiza, this beach will have you up on your feet and drinking till the sun goes down.

They are usually snapped up by travellers who are keen to visit sun-kissed beaches such as Las Salinas. Why not join them for your next action packed summer holiday?

Porthcurno – England

Many people have chosen to take Cornish staycations in recent years. They have enjoyed sunny days at the glorious gardens and beaches in this part of England.

Some have even taken the opportunity to surf the waves and enjoy beach games at the Porthcurno resort.

Navagio – Greece

You are encouraged to take a boat trip along the Zakynthos coastline to the beach of Navagio during holidays in Greece.

Here you can swim in clear blue waters, investigate a local shipwreck and relax with a glass of traditional Greek wine.

Playa Del Carmen – Mexico

You will find the Mexican coastal resort of Playa del Carmen mentioned in various travel brochures and holiday guides.

It holds a great appeal due to the natural beauty of the beach and the variety of nightclubs, where parties are regularly held.

This child-friendly beach is located in northern Malta. It is visited by large numbers of international travellers each year.
