2010 Weblog Awards

Medellin Living is one of the 5 finalists for Best Latin American Weblog in the 10th Annual Weblog Awards (aka the 2010 bloggies)! When I arrived in Medellin this time last year, I was immediately struck by the natural beauty, rich culture, and friendly paisas. Starting this blog was my way of getting the word out that the city had a lot to offer.

My other travel blog, Go Backpacking, is one of the 5 finalists for Best Travel Weblog as well.

Please head over to 2010.bloggies.com to vote for both this week. You do not need to vote for any other blogs to submit your ballot. The deadline for voting is Sunday, January 31st at 10 PM, EST.

Medellin Living became a team effort after I left Colombia last July, and I owe a big thank you to Holly for keeping the content fresh and interesting.

I mean how many expats in Medellin blog about BASE jumping off buildings?!
