When I first was invited to my friend Juan Diego’s house, I was expecting the typical Medellin style house. I knew it was up in Santa Elena, but that didn’t mean much to me. What I found was one of the most amazing homes I have ever been in. Like a cross between a ski lodge and a gingerbread house, but with five levels of balconies and terraces. It feels so much like home.
