Here’s another song I discovered recently, and absolutely love!
I can’t recall exactly where I heard this song first. Either I downloaded it amongst others for my party last week, or I heard it in one of the salsa clubs, or both.
At any rate, the Buena Visa Social Club was an actual place in Havana, Cuba which held dances and musical activities, and became a popular meeting place for musicians in the 1940’s. A documentary about it, by the same name, was released in 1999.
