1.  Which neighborhood do you live in?

Envigado

2.  How long have you lived there?

1 month

3.  What is the closest metro station?  Is it within walking distance
(10-15 minutes max)?

Ayura and Envigado – both are within walking distance

4.  What is the closest park or monument?

Parque Envigado

5.  Are you within walking distance of a big grocery store?  If yes,
which one(s)?

Yes – Consumo, Carrefour, and Exito

6.  What do you enjoy about living in your neighborhood?

Friendly people and shop owners.  Genuine neighborhood atmosphere.  Quiet and clean.  10 minute walk to Ayura metro station.  5 minute walk to two different gyms – Dinamo and another new one.  Just a block from accessing the buses on Las Vegas Avenue.

7.  What is the downside of living in your neighborhood?

Higher cost to rent a room then in other parts of the city, however I do feel I am getting my money’s worth.

8.  Do you feel safe in your neighborhood? If yes, does this extend to walking around late at night (such as returning from a bar/club)? If no, why not?

In general, yes, however I have not gone out to any of the local bars or clubs (yet).  I usually take a taxi home from other parts of the city late at night.

9.  Please list the name (and address or directions if possible) of
your favorite neighborhood restaurant(s), bar(s), clubs(s), gym(s), internet cafe(s), etc.

Konin Foods makes great arepa wraps.  There are two internet cafes and a video rental store across the streets from Consumo grocery store.

10.  Would you recommend living in your area to future foreigners?

Yes
