1.  Which neighborhood do you live in?

Centro

2.  How long have you lived there?

About 1 and a half months

3.  What is the closest metro station?  Is it within walking distance (10-15 minutes max)?

Hospital – about 10 minutes

4.  What is the closest park or monument?

Parque do los Deseos, Jardin Botanico

5.  Are you within walking distance of a big grocery store?  If yes, which one(s)?

Little stores everywhere with all the necessities, plus the Minorista about 20 minutes away.

6.  What do you enjoy about living in your neighborhood?

Everything Amu said with added emphasis on the street food vendors, the local student population, the couchsurfers upstairs, and the bars which play ska and punk in Español instead of just salsa (no bad vibes to salsa, mind you.)

7.  What is the downside of living in your neighborhood?

There’s no Mexican food and my bicycle isn’t here!  In reality, cant think of a single complaint.

8.  Do you feel safe in your neighborhood? If yes, does this extend to walking around late at night (such as returning from a bar/club)? If no, why not?

Late night walking all the time – never had any real problems.  A dude was shot across the street a few weeks ago, but the typical tourist has nothing to fear.  Was approached for my cell phone one time in broad daylight, but walked away and the interaction dissolved.

9.  Please list the name (and address or directions if possible) of your favorite neighborhood restaurant(s), bar(s), clubs(s), gym(s),
internet cafe(s), etc.

Ok, the arepa lady for sure in front of Comunidad Sevilla.  Shes always smiling and her cheesy arepas are the stuff of dreams.

10.  Would you recommend living in your area to future foreigners?

Yes

11.  Additional comments or suggestions?
