Every Thursday the local brewery in Medellin, 3 Cordilleras, has live music and and overall awesome scene. The brewery is located just past Premium Plaza. It has a great handcrafted feel, and of course the beer is great. It may not satisfy my taste for an amazing stout, but it sure hits the mark for a wonderful home-brew. They offer three different types of beers from white to dark. You can enter on Thursday night for 15,000 COP which includes six beer tickets. I’ve been telling all my friends back in the United States, “Screw dollar beer night!”
The live music is also amazing. It’s traditional and fun. I had my doubts when I first saw them gather, but my ideas quickly shifted. The vocalist is amazing, and the band is completely interactive. You can have one hell of a good time here!
You can find 3 Cordilleras at many different places in the city, and it’s definitely worth a try.

I love beer (Belgians are usually my fav) and am planning my first time trip to Col/Medellin this June. I figured that It would be hard to find something outside of the typical South American Pilsner. I’ll be sure to hit this place up! Muchas Gracias!
